Jenna ends up in Whiskey River, Montana and finds a cabin after a disastrous event with her ex-fiance a few days before their wedding in Denver. She meets Phoenix, a mountain man who makes furniture, and the sparks fly. Loved the heartwarming characters who have entertaining situations and great dialogue. The storyline has drama, surprises, secrets, great friends, beautiful locales and vistas that you can easily picture in your head. Oh, my these Alpha mountain men are smokin' hot. This book can standalone, but is so much better if you read Take Me to the River first. Phoenix is the more outgoing of the four friends who live on the mountain. He makes beautiful hand carved furniture and that is how he first meets Jenna. Jenna has just moved to Whiskey River and is looking for items to furnish her new home. She wanders into the general store and falls for a beautiful coffee table only she wants a larger version for her dining room. Jack introduces her to Phoenix and Phoenix invites her out to his shop to talk ideas. Jenna is also a photographer and asks Phoenix about taking some pictures of him and his land. The attraction between them starts to smolder, but they both have deep secrets and trust issues. This story is about trust, true friendship, love, putting others first, helping those you care about and learning your own worth. I am so looking forward to the next book in the Ms. Rose's Mountain Man series.
