Shabnam Rezapour earned the PhD degree in Industrial Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology. From Sep. 2006 till Sep. 2010, Dr. Rezapour was working as a researcher of Logistics and Supply Chain Management research group, Institute of Trade Studies and Research (ITSR) at Iran ministry of commerce. Sine Sep. 2010, Rezapour has been working as an Assistant Professor at Urmia University of Technology. The authorโs research interests are competitive facilities location problems, risk management in supply chain, disruption in supply chain management, green supply chain, and optimization under uncertainty. Over recent years Dr. Rezapour has published many journal papers in the field of operations research, data mining, and fuzzy logics. The author has several published and accepted books and book chapters with leading publishers like Springer-Verlag, Elsevier, and IGI Global.
Laleh Kardar is a PhD student of Industrial Engineering at the University of Houston (UH), USA. She received two B.Sc. degrees in biomedical and industrial engineering and a M.Sc. degree in biomedical engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran in 2005, 2007, and 2008, respectively. From Feb. 2007 till Jul. 2010, Kardar was working as a researcher of Logistics and Supply Chain Management research group, Institute of Trade Studies and Research (ITSR) at Iran ministry of commerce. She has co-authored and edited three books in the field of Logistics and Supply Chain Management under Springer-Verlag, Elsevier, and IGI Global. Her current research interests concern the design of algorithms for optimization problems in health care industry. She is serving as a secretary of INFORMS student chapter at UH. [Editor]
