Michael "Sam" Maguire is a Londoner by birth and education, and is a writer of novels and screenplays. He writes both adult and juvenile fiction and Swiftly 2 (sequel to Swiftly)is his ninth published work. His adult novels have featured in the Sunday Times outstanding titles list and the film rights to two of his juvenile books were bought by Walt Disney.
