Two to protect the Carrington sisters. The first time Brandon rescues Emily Carrington (she doesn’t know who he is yet) from bandits, they are smitten with each other. Can they make plans for the future before the criminals are stopped? This is an exciting action-packed mystery and adventure, and a charmingly sweet love story. Brandon is the perfect hero, kind, caring, protective. Emily doesn't think there is anything special about her. Others see her special talents. She is quiet, kind, and full of concern for her family, and always able to provide comfort. They make a wonderful couple. Their story is filled with danger, drama, humor, and romance. A short trip at sea provides an interesting surprise or two. Great addition to the series. I look forward to the next one. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Duke Of Dishonor is a fabulous historical romance by Tammy Andresen. Ms. Andresen, as usual, delivers a well-written book populated with lovable characters. Emily believes she's the sister that isn't at all special. Brandon is a ghost of a man that turns up when there is trouble and disappears afterward. Brandon and Emily's story is packed with drama, humor, spice, action and suspense. I enjoyed reading the book and look forward to my next book by Tammy Andresen. Duke Of Dishonor is book 11 of the Lords of Scandal Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book that I received from Bookfunnel. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Have I mentioned before how much I love this series? It just seems to get better and better with each character whose story is told! We "met" the Duke of Dishonor in previous books but he was like a shadow and we knew nothing of him. I was so excited to see him have his own story and find out who he really is!! Brandon has spent the last 5 years trying to clear his family name, as well as trying to keep Emily and her sisters safe. He's made decisions that were not always right and even though there's an attraction between him and Emily, he doubts there's a future for them due to some of those decisions. Emily has always felt helpless, not strong of character like her two older sisters and wishes she could make her own choices in life. When Brandon rescues her once again, she is more than a little in love with him already but he has secrets that stops her from admitting her feelings. With danger on their heels, secrets need to be told and passions need to be fulfilled. Tammy Andresen does not disappoint, she has once more written a riveting story!! I was given an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

USA Today Bestselling Author, Tammy Andresen lives with her husband and three children just outside of Boston, Massachusetts. She grew up on the Seacoast of Maine, where she spent countless days dreaming up stories in blueberry fields and among the scrub pines that line the coast. Her mother loved to spin a yarn and Tammy filled many hours listening to her mother retell the classics. It was inevitable that at the age of 18, she headed off to Simmons College, where she studied English literature and education.
