About this ebook

She’s a single mom who’s over the fairy tale, thank you very much.

Ellie Sanders doesn’t need a man for anything, except maybe marketing tips.

Good thing Tyler Hendrix isn’t looking for love and marriage either.

The Navy helped Ty put his lousy childhood behind him.

He’s happy running First Impressions’ video firm and helping Ellie build her business.

Problem is, Ellie’s business involves adult toys.

Yeah, that kind.

Which means Ty can’t stop picturing her in his bed.

That’s the only reason he wants her this badly, right?

Or maybe it’s their minefield of sexy wardrobe malfunctions and plumbing mishaps.

Or the adorably awkward dates giving Ty sweet glimpses of what fatherhood could be like.

Turns out Ellie has the coolest five-year-old on the planet, but Henry complicates things.

Ty’s wired to be a fling, not a father.

His own deadbeat dad saw to that.

And Ty’s determined not to be like his jailbird old man.

But what if Ellie and Henry are the magic key that unlocks Ty’s heart for good?

One-click this sexy romantic comedy about an ex-military man turned corporate exec who swears he won’t fall for the sweet single mom and her son (spoiler alert: he does!)

The Hook Up (First Impressions) by Tawna Fenske This is single mom Ellie Sanders and Tyler "Ty" Hendrix's story. This is a funny and sexy story of two people that find out they have more in common than you would think. Neither one want a relationship but would consider a hook up. Will this turn into more? A great read for the beach or when you just need a fun escape. Lots of funny and hot situations. FYI, contains mature content.  I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Tawna Fenske never takes herself too seriously and it shines through in her sweetly written, sappy tales of love and spontaneity. Her adorable characters and humorous scenarios are entertaining but they also are relayed from the heart and a person would have to be made of ice not to find the appeal in that. No, romance does not always consist of starry eyes and sad goodbyes but The Hook Up balances the good and the bad into a welcome surprise.

I haven't read the first two books in the First Impressions series but I'm bumping them to the top of my TBR and reading them ASAP! This book pulled me in and I finished it in one sitting. These characters are funny and their first meeting had me crying laughing. I loved the interactions and Elle's son Henry definitely stole the show. I can't wait to go back and read the other books in this series! *This is my voluntary review of a second look reader copy*

About the author

When Tawna Fenske finished her English lit degree at 22, she celebrated by filling a giant trash bag full of romance novels and dragging it everywhere until she’d read them all. Now she’s a RITA Award finalist, USA Today bestselling author who writes humorous fiction, risqué romance, and heartwarming love stories with a quirky twist. Publishers Weekly has praised Tawna’s offbeat romances with multiple starred reviews and noted, “There’s something wonderfully relaxing about being immersed in a story filled with over-the-top characters in undeniably relatable situations. Heartache and humor go hand in hand.”

Tawna lives in Bend, Oregon, with her husband, step-kids, and a menagerie of ill-behaved pets. She loves hiking, snowshoeing, standup paddleboarding, and inventing excuses to sip wine on her back porch. She can peel a banana with her toes and loses an average of twenty pairs of eyeglasses per year. To find out more about Tawna and her books, visit www.tawnafenske.com.
