About the author

Dr D.S. Rawat was a distinguished Chartered Accountant who spent over thirty-five years teaching and mentoring CA students (PE-II/Final). Awarded a PhD in IFRS, he was a visiting faculty member at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), guiding courses on accounting standards and IFRS. He played a key role in India's convergence to IFRS and brought extensive practical experience in auditing and accounting for diverse organisations.

His notable works include Students' Guide to Auditing Standards and Students' Guide to Accounting Standards, both published by Taxmann. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy endures through his invaluable contributions to the profession and his unwavering commitment to accounting education.

Jinender Jain, a Chartered Accountant with over fourteen years of experience in financial reporting and related fields, holds an IFRS diploma and an IFRS certificate from ACCA (UK), reflecting his in-depth expertise in IFRS and Ind AS.
