Covey (1932-2012) — recognized by Time magazine as one of America's twenty-five most influential people — was the author of best-selling books including The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Families, First Things First, and The 8th Habit. He was chairman of the FranklinCovey Company and lived with his wife Sandra in Provo, Utah.
