The author knocks it out of the ballpark once again. This was another great read. I love how she takes right up where she left off on the previous book. She has a real talent for that. This is one series you need to read in order. Than and Therese finally get married. SPOILER? But something tragic happens at the wedding. It was prophesied that someone close to Therese would die. But who could it be? Preparations are made to try and prevent this. I don’t think that was a spoiler? Seems like the prophesy was mentioned before? I really am not a fan of Pete very much since the middle of the last book. And this one he drove me crazy with his being a seer. He shouldn’t have been messing with his dad’s ghost and giving him blood to drink. Or maybe it was the other way? Heck I don’t remember. But they both suck! I would’ve slapped him instead of being oh poor Pete and all that stuff. But it was a good story line and plays a big part in stuff, even in the future. And we have to have characters that get to us. Speaking of that, Zeus sucks too. I never liked him either lol. But at the end I could see why he is like he is. He’s so touchy lol. I was holding my breath at the end. I looked down and saw I was doing 80! (I listened to the audiobook). This is the best series and I can’t wait for the next one. If you listen to audio, you will love this! The narrator is super amazing and can do all the characters very well.
