Andrea Romance
Renee moves back to her small hometown to find a quiet place to raise her autistic son. She hopes to purchase her grandparents' farm, but developer Cole has different ideas. Her former high-school crush wants to build high-end homes on the land. Their rivalry sparks their old attraction, and they agree to a short-term fling. But the more their lives become entangled, the harder it will be to say goodbye. No one does steamy small-town romance better than Reese Ryan. I love her gentle humor, her clever use of language, and the characters who generally mean well even when they come into conflict. Renee and Cole both see themselves as too savvy to fall in love, yet deep down they can't fight the tender feelings that grow between them. This book has so much heart—it's like wrapping yourself in a big hug. And we could all use more hugs right now. Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.

This is book six and the final book in The Bourbon Brother's Series and it is Renee and Cole's story and it is definitely a must read. Renee is a divorced single mum to Mercer who has special needs and her time is spent making sure that he is safe and gets everything that he could need so she definitely doesn't have time for a man or a relationship. Cole is a real estate developer and he doesn't do commitment of relationships and at the moment he is trying to get the land that Renee's aunt's farm is on but it is not proving as easy as he thought because Renee is refusing to give up the land that he wants and that is causing a lot of friction between them. Cole and Renee have intense chemistry but will they act on it especially after everything that has happened in there lives of will they just remain friend's. Omg I absolutely love this book and series so much and I am really sorry that it has come to the end but on the other hand I am looking forward to reading the next series written. I definitely recommend you read this book and others by Reese Ryan who is an amazing author and writer and her books are definitely worth reading. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

That ending has stolen all my words, and I kind of no longer have any idea what I thought I wanted to say about this story. I know that Cole has kind of been an enigma in the background of the previous stories. So, I've really been looking forward to seeing what it would take for him to find his happily ever after. Renee was not the answer I was expecting to his relationship woes, but she’s absolutely perfect for him. She inspires him to be a better man, and he shows her how a real partner steps up and cares for the people important to him. I kind of hate saying “goodbye” to the Abbott siblings, but the twist in the end of this book suggests I may not have to completely let them go just yet. I received a complimentary copy of this book through Booksprout.
