About the author

Sharon Owens was born in Omagh, Northern Ireland, in 1968. She moved to Belfast in 1988 to study illustration at the Belfast School of Art. She married her husband, Dermot, in 1992 and they have one daughter, Alice. Owens is the author of The Tea House on Mulberry StreetThe Ballroom on Magnolia Street, and The Tavern on Maple Street.
