About this eBook

Billionaire Harker has everything he wants, except a child.

He’s finally chosen the mother. Alison is brilliant, kind and hard-working. Her genes will mesh perfectly with his. And it doesn’t hurt that he’s spent the last year fantasizing about taking her to his bed and doing all kinds of deliciously wicked things to her.

Alison can’t believe that her boss wants her to have his kid and that he wants to do it the old-fashioned way. She can’t imagine having sex with him. He’s Harker. Sure he’s kind of sexy in a dark, brooding way and when he barks orders her body naturally responds, but still…sex with Harker? She can’t do that, or can she? His offer is hard to refuse, and she’d only have to be with him until she got pregnant. It shouldn’t take long, right?

This steamy, later in life, friends to lovers, romantic comedy will have you laughing out loud. Harker is brusque, alpha and bossy. Alison is fine with that in the workplace. He is her boss after all, but she’s not sure about having his child. He's determined to have her in his life and his bed. All he has to do is find the right price. Everyone has one.

This is the full four-book series. Book four ends with Harker and Alison's HEA.

This story was a journey of how stubborn hero and heroine to finding love. They both didn't believe that they deserved to have love or believed they were worthy of love. They both had huge insecurities, which prevented them to believe for love. However, they really worked through it together and solidified their love for one another. I became mad with how stubborn they both were....STUBBORN!!

The 4 books in this collection follow the developing relationship THE BABY BARGAIN Harker, 40, is an arrogant, demanding, and hard working billionaire who ways gets what he wants and owns a company with two college friends. Alison is a very intelligent programmer who works for him. They love to argue and she is impertinent with him and he is often a demanding jerk to her. He is attracted to her mind but he is not controlled by emotions. He offers her a contract that will make her part owner of the company if she agrees to have his baby. She needs the money for her mom so she negotiates to get him to agree to marriage and joint custody but she balks when he insists on no in vitro baby because she always thought of him as her boss only. Will Alison agree to go with him to La Petite Mort Club, a BDSM club he belongs to, and have a change in her feelings toward Harker? MAKING THE BABY Harker and Alison finally talk and find out more about each other. He discovers her Harker’s Barker Meter that she programmed and they make a fun bet. Will they be successful in their baby making? THE BABY BATTLE Alison finds out that there were some parts of the contract that she signed that she did not realize and she is furious with Harker. She wants nothing to do with him. Has Harker changed and will she fulfill the contract? HAVING THE BABY Alison has a rough delivery and still resents Harker for the unfair contract and she feels manipulated. He regrets what he did but at the time it was a business deal to him and now he has feelings. Can she forgive him so they can be a family or will she insist on the divorce? I absolutely loved this well written, sexy, and romantic story. Harker had never had a family as a child and comes up with the idea of offering a contract to Alison for a business deal so that she will have his baby but no feelings will be involved. By then end of the book he finally realized that he wants a relationship with Alison because he has feelings for her but she feels manipulated and used. I had tears in my eyes as I read Harker’s heartfelt letter to Alison near the end, waiting to see how their story would end. The book was long but well worth every minute spent reading it with the sexy romance, anger, and humor with these great characters. Harker wants a baby, a family, someone to love and love him back. Although he won't admit it, even to himself, he also wants Alison. He comes up with the brilliant idea of contracting Alison to have his baby, and when she agrees, with certain stipulations, they marry a week later. They get off to a rough start. Alison did not have an attorney look over the contract before she signed it, and when she finally does, she feels like a fool. She is furious. When she finds out she is pregnant, she finds herself wanting Harker constantly for sex, but not the meals they used to eat together, or the just being together. When the baby comes, Harker is in love, with baby Irene and Alison. Alison, however is done. She wants a divorce. Harker cannot bear to let her go. Will he lose her in the end? This box set is amazing! I snort laughed, and I actually cried near the end of the fourth book. Harker is comes off as cold and hard, but he's just a broken little boy deep down. Alison is quirky and smart, and just what he needs. She is also warm and generous, which is what makes him fall for her in the first place. Their HEA is very hard won, and so very sweet. If you have enjoyed the La Petite Mort Club series at all, you will love this. Each story runs into the next, so I'm so glad they were published here together. This five star read is one-click worthy. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
