The main purpose of this book is to act as a how-to reference manual for outfitting your RV or mobile home with the tools to support your working and life style and is written from the perspective of traveling full-time on the road. A secondary purpose is to supply information for persons to boondock where they wish and still have the electrical conveniences without having shore power. You will find topics on electrical systems, computers, solar energy and communications. Most all of the components referred to in the book are easily found at any computer retail store, hardware store and of course, on-line. You can save hundreds of dollars by installing your RV systems and have the pleasure and satisfaction of doing it yourself. The examples illustrated are a starting point to give you ideas on how to make changes to your RV.
You will find detailed pictures, schematics and illustrations throughout the book to guide you along the way. There is also a reference section for finding the components you need and to further explore a topic. Included is a glossary of technical definitions for terms and abbreviations. For those that work on the road, replicating your home or work office into a mobile office in the past has been difficult and frustrating to achieve because you could not accomplish all the same features and functions that are required to perform your job.
