About the author

Al Ristori has spent over fifty years fishing all over the world, and he has caught everything from tiny sunfish to giant tuna weighing over 1,000 pounds. The winner of several fishing competitions and tournaments, Ristori is a frequent contributor to the Salt Water Sportsman, writes a regular column on saltwater fishing for the Star-Ledger in Newark, New Jersey, and is the conservation editor of The Fisherman magazine.
