Veronica Hackethal, MD, MSc, is a medical writer and editor. She was a member of the initial launch team for Medpedia, a medical Web encyclopedia backed by Harvard, Stanford, and the University of Michigan schools of medicine, and has written for Innerbody.com. She is the coauthor of The Behavioral Aspects of Malaria: An Annotated Bibliography, a book published by the World Health Organization. She has also edited medical textbooks and published scientific articles. Her writing has won numerous awards.
