He has worked in the field of clinical diabetes innovation for almost thirty years and has over eighty publications on a wide variety of diabetes-related topics. Since 1994, he has been the senior diabetes specialist at Group Health Cooperative, a healthcare organization in Washington state with over half a million enrolled members.
