Christoph T. M. Krause lives in Cologne, Germany. He is a passionate collector of old telephones. The Drum Dial has taken him by storm. Krause loves its design, colours, compact workmanship in its interior and most of all, its unusual way of dialling. Almost all telephones of the 1950s are equipped with rotary dials, but Siemens broke new grounds with the Drum Dial. In this second volume, Krause presents the chronology of newly discovered patents, which, since 1931 and with interruptions due to World War II, were developed over two decades, resulting in an innovative total work of art, a "telephone" that is one of a kind.

Christoph T. M. Krause lebt in Köln, Deutschland. Krause ist seit über 20 Jahren Hundedienstleister und führt ein erfolgreiches Unternehmen. Seit 2020 ist er Buchautor und schreibt Sachbücher, aber auch Romane und Erzählungen. Dabei sind seine Interessen weit gefächert. "Das Schreiben fließt einfach so aus mir heraus, der Gedanke entsteht im Kopf und entwickelt sich beim Schreiben weiter." Ebenso vielseitig wie das Schreiben, ist sein berufliches Portfolio: Vom Lehramtsstudium über eine jahrelange Tätigkeit im Vertrieb einer Computerfirma bis hin zum eigenen Unternehmen im Hundesektor ist einiges dabei. "Schreiben bedeutet für mich, das, was mich unter Umständen Jahre bewegt, endlich einmal festzuhalten und damit den Leser in eine für ihn vielleicht fremde Welt mitzunehmen. Christoph T. M. His professional portfolio is just as versatile as writing: from studying for a teacher's degree, to many years of working in the sales department of a computer company, to his own company in the dog sector, there is a lot to be said for it. "For me, writing means finally capturing what may move me for years and taking the reader into a world that might be alien to him.
