Pastor Anthony Flomo Blessed Tarnue hails from Lofa County in the West African Country of Liberia.
He accepted Christ on the streets of Monrovia, the capital city of his homeland, in November 1973. Brother Tarnue’s walk with the Lord took a turning point in 1978 when he received the Lord’s audible call and commission to proclaim the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ –in a vision, the Holy Spirit opened his spiritual eyes to see a multitude of people.
Commonly known as the “street evangelist” in Liberia, Pastor Tarnue has been faithful to his calling to win the lost for Christ at all cost.
As founder and overseer of the International Free Pentecostal Church, Inc., Pastor Tarnue has been serving in the pastoral ministry for 36 years. His Church is headquartered in Philadelphia, USA, with several older branches in Montserrado, Lofa, Bomi and Margibi counties in Liberia, as well as in Eyeazu, Guinea, West Africa.
Pastor Tarnue began Biblical studies at the Monrovia Bible Training Institute, earning a diploma. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology from the Carver Bible College in Paynesville, Liberia.
He presently resides in the USA, is married to his beautiful wife, Esther, and they are blessed with seven children.
