These churches are still prospering today, twenty years after the authors retirement.

Johannes Weiss was born in the Netherlands and was a teenager during the five years of German occupation. His family hid Jewish families like Corrie Ten Boom. Johannes became a member of the Dutch Resistance and was born again during that time. He became a Methodist missionary after immigrating to the United States.
