...In fact, you have to eat so often (every three hours) and such large portions (adjusted by how much weight you are trying to lose) that it took me a couple weeks just to get used to it. Also, water portions are VERY large, even for those who drink a lot of water. I found it less limiting than other diets I've looked at, which is good, because I'm allergic to eggs. It was nice to see a program in which I wasn't having to substitute something else for eggs every third meal. I've only lost about 10 lbs, so far, after one round of the program, but my metabolism is definitely up, and once you get used to it and plan accordingly, it's not too difficult to adjust to the high frequency of eating prescribed. The meal mapping is quite flexible. My main issues with it are the writing tone, and the fact that it's heavily informed by food fashion trends and the author's dairy allergy. I went ahead and allowed myself moderate dairy on the "dietary fats" days and had decent results. I already used low-fat meat/lots of veg sitrfry and homemade fermented sourdough breads as regular parts of our family food plan, so I substituted sourdough for sprouted breads and did fine.

I am in the third week of following this diet and have lost 12 pounds already and feel great! Yes the diet is super regimented of what you can and cannot eat but it makes sense to get rid of some of the stuff we eat and get back to basics and it is only for 28 days. There is a lot of prep work to get ready for this diet but once I spent a weekend shopping and then cooking several of the dinner recipes I was set. I froze extra portions so now all I have to do heat 'em and eat 'em.

Absolutely ABHOR the lack of app for this diet for droid users. IT'S BEEN YEARS. It's incredibly stupid now to not cater to droid users who also buy this book. It would make DOING the diet in a simple organize manner without lugging the book around l. PLUS the food list is more complete in the app than in the book. If anything the book's food list is outdated now. Also the app provides portion sizes, water intake reminder, grocery list just ugh MAKE A DROID APP. SERIOUSLY. THIS CAN ONLY BRING MORE MONEY.
