When Serena and Tobi witness the neighborhood apothecary DR. NATHAN TRASK lifting a limp body from his fishing boat, they don’t realize they will be forced back together in a life-or-death effort to save the mermaid, MARI-MORGAN, from Dr. Trask’s greedy plans. Joy E. Held is an author, book coach, editor, educator, yoga teacher, and the creator of My WriteDay subscription box for writers. She loves all shades of purple. Her favorite book is Dracula by Bram Stoker, and her favorite movie is “The Wizard of Oz.” Her award-winning nonfiction book Writer Wellness: A Writer’s Path to Health and Creativity has long served as her platform as a writer and literary citizen. She has published over 500 articles in trade magazines and newsletters about dance, theatre, health, and fitness. Joy leads workshops online and at conferences on writer wellness and creativity. Getting an MFA in writing popular fiction from Seton Hill University is one of the best decisions she ever made.
