Acerca de este libro electrónico

How do you keep a prince alive when the combined forces of three nations (and a smattering of privateers) want him dead? Worse, how do you do it when his life is in the hands of a 17 year old lieutenant, an alcoholic college professor, and a woman who has fired more naval guns than either of them?

From the Battle of the Capes, which sealed the fate of Yorktown, to the Battle of the Saints, which shaped the fate of the Caribbean, The Midshipman Prince will take you on a wild ride through 18th Century nautical history.

This Fireship Press series is based on the life of Admiral Sir Sidney Smith (1764-1840)

Acerca del autor

TOM GRUNDNER is a retired college professor who is perhaps best known as the editor behind Tom Wishon's best-selling "Search for..." series of golf books. Despite the tremendous success of those books, he describes his "first love" as writing about the 18th Century Royal Navy.

Dr. Grundner is the author of The Ramage Companion, the companion book to Dudley Pope's 18-volume Ramage nautical adventure series. Among his other works, he is also the author of The Midshipman Prince and HMS Diamond, the first two books of a nautical adventure series based on the life of Sir Sidney Smith.
