Her TED talk, “From the Ivy League to a Gun at My Head,” has over 5 million views and has been translated into over thirty languages. She has appeared on Anderson Cooper 360, NPR, the Today show, MSNBC, and Fox News. She holds a BA in English from Harvard University and an MBA from The Wharton School of Business.
