This was a great reference. The only thing I felt it lacked was ideas on how to best screen your Volunteer applicants. As a member of a Non-Profit myself I know it is important to know who you will have working for you paid or not. So I have been having my potential volunteers pay for thier own background through a company called IAmScreened. This company will run a completely FCRA compliant background on my applicants and then I can actually access the results. It saves money and also helps weed out potential volunteers that are not dedicated to my groups cause enough to shell out the litte money it takes to show they are responsible individuals.
