I started this book with the knowledge that there would be differences between the novel version and the film version. But I did not expect the love scene when Allie & Noah re-unite to be described in such a raunchy way. And I actually do read steamy romances, and franky, smut. But that is not what I want to read when I pick up (or in this case, download) a Nicholas Sparks novel. I have now read all his other books that are available on Google, and much prefer the stylings of his other novels. Aside from the sex scene, I just didn't enjoy how the book was written in general. It didn't feel like a Nicholas Sparks story. And I didn't like that it skimmed over Allie & Noah's teenage years, where they fell in love in the first place. I didn't get to know the characters well enough to root for them. This is the first instance where I feel the film version is by far the better version of this story.

Nicholas Sparks' the notebook was an electrifying excellent read though i was still under twenty one when i read the book, i could paint the pictures in my head. whilst reading the book it felt like i was an onlooker character that felt the same pain,emotion and thoughts as the characters felt, this book is by far a moving fiction that one could swear it was derived from true happenings. Spectacular, Nicholas Sparks has done it again.

the book toggles from past to present while telling about a love story between two people that was truly meant to be.it allows the reader to invest intrest in the characters as if they ar someone you know, someone you are rooting for,maybe even yourself.it tears at your heart strings as you journey through noahs notebook hopeing and praying allies will remeber.
