ASHLEY RAMIREZ, PhD, is the founder of Mason Dixon Bakery & Bistro, a gluten-free and Paleo-friendly restaurant. She received her doctorate in chemistry from Duke University and uses her background in science to develop recipes that win over even the toughest critics.
