Jesse Stallings Burris, son of Byron Benton Burris, was the superintendent of Concordia Parish, Louisiana, schools. Flora Mae Burris, daughter of Robert Lee Burris, was a teacher and librarian at Franklinton (Louisiana) Elementary School.
