The authors explain each step of the way from the moment the FIVB's President acknowledged the lack of financial sustainability to secure the future of volleyball and his courageous decision to develop a new event based on cutting-edge technology, which led to financial innovation. The cutting-edge event is the Volleyball Nations League (VNL). It has three characteristics that fascinate the Volleyball Family.
