The characters in this book bring out all the feelings in me. I'm always a fan of this author and her quirky characters that have the best banter ever! This one adds in a bit of a mystery, and it was just the right dash for the story. And while I love Anna and Owen (the two really were so perfect for each other and their conversations left me melty), the scene stealer in the book was Anna's sister. I loved her so much!

Adventure guide Owen seeks justice for the theft of his family’s legacy. He hires investigator Anna, whose late father is suspected of the heist. Owen and Anna can’t deny the chemistry between them as they navigate a dangerous path. This romance has a strong suspense plot, yet still revolves around home and family. Anna struggles with trust issues, but Owen is sweet and supportive. This page-turning novel is funny, heartwarming, and a pleasure to read. Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC.

A crime and a romance combine for a delightful story of opposites attract. Private detective Anna is involved in a case which could implicate her deceased father.
