The Teacher's Guide to Grammar is unique in focusing directly on the aspects of grammar that teachers need to know. Deborah Cameron is Rupert Murdoch Professor of Language and Communication at the University of Oxford. She is a former head of department at the Institute of Education in London, and has over 20 years' experience of teaching English grammar to students and trainees. Well-known and widely respected in educational circles, she is author of, among other books, Good to Talk (2000) and Verbal Hygiene (1995)
