The book is not what you think it is. Starts out getting the characters background. Then goes back to confederate days. Then you wade through an FBI indictment against the teacher and it goes downhill from there. Not worth the time or the money.

Thomas Moore’s fiction entertains, informs, and illuminates. His historical novels include No Villains, No Heroes (2012) and the epic Reunion at Gettysburg, to be released in 2015. A graduate of The Citadel, he resides with his wife, Rhonda, in Aiken, South Carolina.
