Ratings and reviews

I felt like this book was a bit of a placeholder between what was and Jenner's story. Tovan and Diane were not as familiar as some of the previous characters. However, with that said, we got to see the characters we are accustomed to and their story continued. The book must be read for those characters and the end. I wondered how the would setup Rico's book and this book answers it. I hope the next two more anticipated books live up to my expectations. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Tovan and Diane’s story continues the series, a series which in my opinion keeps getting better and better. The storyline and the characters are well-defined, making this story fun to follow. I love strong empowered female characters and Diane certainly fits the bill, I love the feeling of the family contained within the story as well as the palpable chemistry, and the romance. There's a lot going on in the enjoyable read, a stalker, unexplained deaths as well as unexpected twists.

The killer will be confronted at the end, as Diane finds out the truth of all the secrets relating to her and her family at long last and about those behind it all, in part! I can’t wait to read more of their stories and find out who is next to find their mate and be released from a life of darkness.
