The John Tyler Series: Midnight Drive, prequel: Interesting characters and dialogue. Good storylines but average. 3* Four on the Floor, John Tyler Series, #4 - Good characters. Good dialogues. Well written and thought out story lines. No vulgar language but plenty of realistic, fast-paced action. 4* Forced Induction, #5 - One of my favorite series. The stories keep getting better with each new addition. FI keeps the pace fast and steady with Lexi helping John in his quest to find stolen military weapons. The characters, both old and new, blend well with the new and continuous story lines. There's a lot of blood but it is all for a good cause. Ole Uncle George is back to make things bad for John. Hard to put down but well worth the time invested. 5* The Low Road, #6 - Intense. Interesting. Good pace. Good action. Good planning throughout the story lines. Tyler left it all on the floor Tyler, everyone’s favorite mercenary mechanic, convinces his daughter that he should be the one to pick her friend up from the airport due to the snow storm after she helps him with some of the office work at his repair shop. As the story progresses the simple pick up leads to trouble, a lack of information causes it to double, and getting to the bottom of things might not burst the bubble. Tom Fowler’s Tyler left it all on the floor in Four on the Floor. I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

John Tyler is back and despite doing his best to live a regular life getting his classic car garage up and running trouble is never far away. Tyler does his daughter a favour by braving a snowstorm and collecting her friend at the airport. When he arrives at her home they find most of her family brutally murdered and her remaining sister missing. This is just the type of trouble that finds John Tyler and it’s the type that he can’t let go: the guilty must be punished. Tom Fowler gives his readers another action filled thrill ride as Tyler sets out to dispense that justice. The author weaves an addictive story full of interesting characters and fascinating situations. Without doubt John Tyler has become my favourite thriller character. He’s a mix of Bosch and Jack Reacher with a steely sense of justice all his own.
