About the author

Bhavya Alankar, Ph.D. (CSE), M.Tech. (CSE), Fellow (IETE), is currently working as a senior faculty at Department of Computer Science and Eng. at Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India. Previously employed at National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jalandhar, India. He has done his Ph.D. in Reconfigurable Computing from Uttarakhand Technical University, India and Masters in Technology in VLSI design from CDAC, Mohali, India and. He has 15 years of teaching and research experience. His research interests are in VLSI design, Cloud computing, Deep learning, Reconfigurable computing. He is author and editor to books in the area on VLSI, Machine Learning and IoT. He has received many awards and recognition from International bodies.

Harleen Kaur who hails from India, works in a Hamdard University, Department of Computer Science, New Delhi. She has served in United Nations University - IIGH as a Research Fellow focusing on Information Technology in Healthcare in 2011-2012. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science on the topic of Applications and Social Impact of Data Mining techniques in Health care Management. She has previously taught in University of Delhi, New Delhi, India. She researches broadly in the fields of Information Technology in healthcare, Knowledge Discovery as well as Data Mining and its applications. She has published numerous research articles in refereed international journals and conference proceedings and books. She is a member of several international bodies like ACUNS. She is an Editor to Springer book on “ICTs and the Millennium Development Goals: A United Nations Perspective”. She is currently involved in the research project on Building a Standard Nationwide Healthcare Knowledge Driven System, for better utilization of research in ICT and development of policy making in knowledge-driven system to improve the quality of life for many citizens in the developing countries.

Ritu Chauhan pursued her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi, India on the topic of Applications of Data Mining techniques in Spatial Databases. She graduated from the University of Delhi, New Delhi. She has previously served as a Lecturer in Computer Science, IMI. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor at Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Amity University. She has published numerous research articles in refereed international journals and conference proceedings and chapters in an edited book. She is a member of several international bodies. Her main research interests are in the fields of Data analysis with applications to medical databases.
