I was afradi to pick up this book since I was really disappointed in Addie la Rue. However, this book was a completely different experience. I liked the explanation behind the EOs. I liked the narration and the climax of the story.

Ok...I've never read a book about superheroes and this did such a great job!! I love morally complex characters and this book definitely brought that to the table.

V.E. Schwab is the author of The Near Witch and The Archived. The product of a British mother, a Beverly Hills father, and a southern upbringing, Schwab has a penchant for tea and BBC shows, and a serious and well-documented case of wanderlust. Vicious is her first adult book.
