About this ebook

Point Break’s lead guitarist, Wes Shaw, is all about living free—free career choices, free to do as he pleases, free love. As the band’s remaining bachelor, he gets his pick of women and men. But when Wes gets stuck in an elevator with a gorgeous, innocent vixen ready to test her wild side, everything changes.

Sara Crawford is the daughter of a famous TV evangelist getting to know her true self in New York City. Normally, she hides her passionate nature, but when she’s trapped with her favorite rock guitarist, she finds a sensual way to keep her mind off her claustrophobia.

The moment they’re rescued from the elevator, however, Sarah flees. Normally, Wes would move on, but now that he’s met Sara? He can’t let go. Can Wes convince Sara that she rocks a part of him he never knew existed? And will Sara risk alienating her family to stand by her bad boy’s side forever?

This was a real story of opposites attract but both characters were hiding things. Wes is a rock star but he is hiding his true self from his band mates and his fans. They don't know he is bi-sexual. He came out to his family and his high school girlfriend and they didn't react well. So he keeps it on a need to know basis. Sara is a preachers kid, but he is like one of those TV evangelists. She managed to get her father to allow her to go to school in NY but she must study religion and go to the church youth group. She is hiding her true self from her family since she has gotten a little wild since being in NY. -Meet cute- they get stuck in an elevator together. I liked Wes and Sara together. They were sweet and hot together. It was a little insta-lovey but it worked. I liked that Sara wasn't this virginal character. She was very open minded and understanding. I liked the conflict of this story. Even though Wes jumped to conclusions I get why he did so. I like how this was resolved to for Wes and Sara as a couple and with their individual issues. Overall I liked this book and would recommend it. 3.5 stars

This book had it all: Controversy, secrets, passion, and emotions. Sara, a famous preachers daughter, fighting to get from under daddy's thumb and live her life as she sees fit. Wes, disowned by his religious family and dumped by his girlfriend for his lifestyle choices. The two come together both wanting to live their life while holding onto their secrets. DePaul has written great characters that you find yourself rooting for. A book that you don't want to put down or end. I received this book as an ARC.

What happens when the life you never knew you wanted is the one you can't seem to live without? Rock Free is a battle of the heart. The last bachelor is about to meet his match in his total opposite. Wes is used to living it up on the road. He enjoys his freedom, but secretly he craves more than the good time show he puts on for others. His world is turned upside down when he finds himself stuck in an elevator with Sara. Sara is used to restrictions. Her life has been that of a follower, but that's about to change. She's ready to break free and bad boy rocker, Wes may be just the guy to help her. Wes and Sara are caught between two worlds. Will the bad boy corrupt the good girl or will she help him redeem his soul? Falling in love just got complicated. Let the face off begin.
