He earned his Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Mathematics and Computer Science and a minor in Physics at Youngstown State University, Youngstown, Ohio, USA, in 1992; the Master of Science in Mathematics at Youngstown State University, Youngstown, Ohio, USA, in 1994; and the Master of Arts degree in Computer Science at Kent State University, Kent, Ohio, USA, in 1995. He is a ISTQB Certified Software Tester by the Swiss Association for Quality.
He assumed a series of contractual positions for a number of financial institutions and IT firms in the U.S., Canada and Switzerland, in a capacity of an associate director, line manager, test and team leader, senior QA analyst, professional services consultant, senior programmer / analyst, and scientific researcher.
