This book depicts the journey of a village boy from his village to becoming a University professor. This book will be an inspiration for underprivileged people to achieve their goals by successfully crossing all their hurdles in life. It also throws some light on the society's economic condition of the mid-20th century and early 21st century. There may be a few spelling and grammatical errors along with some information that might seem irrelevant to some, which may be forgiven. This autobiography has been penned by the author under his utmost belief in God and Divinity.

Acerca del autor

Anandamoy Manna was born in a remote village in West Bengal, in 1942. After getting the preliminary education in the village school, he passed the MSc with first class from Calcutta University. After acquiring his PhD, he started his career as a lecturer at Narendrapur Ramakrishna Mission Residential College. Later he joined Jadavpur University as a lecturer in Physics in 1972 and retired as a professor in 2007. He also worked as a Visiting Research Fellow under Professor Peter Gray at Leeds University, UK under the Commonwealth Bursary scheme of the Royal Society and Nuffield Foundation for 6 months. He supervised Ph.D. for scholars and published more than fifty papers in National and International journals and some books on Physics and environmental science. He became a Fellow of the National Environment Science Academy.
