Life Rhymes are a unique genre of motivational poem I created. They are positive, poetic expressions of the internal dialogue that creates success. They are part affirmation, advice column, inspired observation, proverb, prayer and life lesson all rolled into one! They are meant to guide your thoughts so you see the world differently, interpret life’s situations correctly and make choices that help you reach your highest goals! Between Aug 1997 and Aug 2006, I wrote a brand new, original inspiration EVERY SINGLE WEEK without fail! The 20,000 subscribers to my ''Friday Inspiration'' email enjoyed what was the longest-running email newsletter on the internet! They are now available in ebook form in a series! Walt F.J. Goodridge is from the Caribbean island of Jamaica and holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Columbia University in New York. After seven years working for the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, this frustrated civil engineer walked away from his career to pursue his passion for writing and helping others. His mission: "I share what I know, so that others may grow!"

In addition to identities as the "Hip Hop Entrepreneur author," "the Jamaican in China," and the "Ageless Adept," Walt is known as the "Passion Prophet," author of Turn Your Passion Into Profit, and a unique PassionProfit™ Philosophy & Formula.

Walt escaped from America to live on the Pacific island of Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI), and has written several books about his new home: Saipan Living, Doing Business on Saipan, <i>Chicken Feathers & Garlic Skin, Saipan Now and There's Something About Saipan.

He writes freelance articles for the Saipan Tribune, Marianas Variety and the Guam Business Journal; conducts writer workshops to help aspiring authors on Saipan, Tinian and Guam; offers tours of his new home; has been featured in books and documentaries about the islands; received a Senate Resolution for his contributions to CNMI society; and received the Governor's Humanities Awards for (1) Preservation of CNMI History, (2) Research & Publications in the Humanities, and (3) Outstanding Humanities Teacher.

The Wall Street Journal, Entrepreneur Magazine, Source, Billboard, Time, Black Enterprise, Essence, Ebony, South Africa's SArie Magazine as well as many other publications have featured his insights, inspiration and instruction. His books have been used as texts for university courses in the US and Europe, and he has been quoted by "Guerrilla Marketing" guru Jay Conrad Levinson, music industry pioneer Chuck D, and other authors. Walt currently owns and operates over 50 websites, has written over 25 books, over 400 business and motivational articles and over 500 inspirational "Life Rhymes."
