About this ebook

The story is about magic, being judged and bullied for looking different, but also about forming a deep friendship.

A little girl hates going to school and due to events related to this, end up under a spell. The spell was placed by “Fowl Owl” who is a wizard. He tries to fly off with Molly landing her in a forest where she befriends a tortoise, sleeps in a rabbit hole and they help her find her way home.

Unfortunately, the spell changed her appearance so that she looks like an orphan with no hair and her skin has blotches of a different color. Her family takes her in while searching for their own girl and Molly learns from Grandfather Owl how to break his brother's curse. She goes back to school and here she stumbles onto kids bullying her because of her strange looks. She ends up with a best friend and a way to break the curse. Learning that knowledge is power.

About the author

I live in a coastal town in South Africa with my four fur babies. I have a very humoristic mind that I’ve wished for ages that I can put down on paper, however, I lack the knowledge. If perhaps you find any errors in my book or see a way to improve my writing please let me know. I love sipping hot chocolate at random coffee shops, movies, books, and baking - not very good at it, but it tastes good all the same.

I write children stories with animal characters mixed up in the human world. The stories are full of magic, humor, and hard lessons that kids deal with every day. The stories are to warm the heart and give hope.
