This is a fast-paced story that starts with a great hook. The action-filled plot filled kept surprising me with twists, turns, and secrets revealed. I love the characters. Kitsune Tru is clever, loyal, and brave, though she struggles with difficult choices in this story. Drake, the Executioner, may appear to be a scary alpha werewolf, but there’s so much more to his story. There’s an element of found family, with some great secondary characters.

Nothing in this book went as I thought it would, and that was a Great Thing! Surprises around every turn! Fast paced, devoured it in one sitting. I was happy to receive this ARC because I was hooked on these 2 and their friends since book 1. I love how the book ended, but I still want more! Kira, from "Full Moon Saloon", is such a great apprentice.! Nothing in this book went as I thought it would, and that was a Great Thing! Surprises around every turn! Fast paced, devoured ARC in 1 go!

This is the second book in the series and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The storyline is very imaginative and there are some surprises too. I look forward to the next book in the series as so far I enjoyed all the shifter stories by Aimee Easterling! I received a free copy of this book and I am happy to leave a review and to recommend it.
