I didn't read the other books in this series but felt like I didn't need to. The Archer family is huge, diverse, and, well, family. I liked that this wasn't just about Hayden and Bex. It was about Hayden and his family. I'm not sure if my feeling was correct but it felt like he was kinda the odd man out. He was different from the other Archers yet not. It felt like there was...distance (?) between him and them but I only felt that at times. Despite that feeling, it was incredible to watch them rally around him when he needed them the most. While that feeling was fleeting with Hayden and his family, it wasn't so with Hayden and Bex. He wasn't thrilled to see her again after finally moving on. She was struggling to keep what she still felt for him under wraps. But what they had was undeniable. It still pulsed strong between them despite time and distance. It still pulled them to one another despite their hesitation. Hayden and Bex have waited five long years for their happy ending. Tragedy ended their young love story but fate gave them a chance to try again and create a different ending. I enjoyed every page of this story. It was a delicious taste of everything I've missed in this series and will now have to go read. Received from Edelweiss via Tasty Book Tours for an honest review

You're Still the One by Darcy Burke....I love going back to Ribbon Ridge and how perfect to get Hayden and Bex story. These two have so much chemistry and perfect together. I am mixed, I loved this story so much, but I am sad the Archers are over. I am hoping we will get more Ribbon Ridge. I absolutely love Darcy Burke storytelling, I can't wait to see what is next. I highly recommend this series...Fall in love with Ribbon Ridge and the Archers as I did. I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Just when I thought the Ribbon Ridge series couldn't get more emotional, Darcy Burke gives us You're Still the One. I love how the author gives us a family that may look perfect from the outside but is full of flaws, and personality conflicts, and issues like every family. It makes the Archers real to the reader. It's fitting that the last of the Archer children to get his happily-ever-after is the one who felt most left out his entire life, and we experience that emotion with him in this book. My heart ached for him as he worked through his issues with his family and feeling like the "odd man out". You're Still the One is a wonderful "second chance at love" story, with Bex and Hayden having a relationship that ended with Bex left town five years ago. The dynamic of Bex's relationship with Hayden's family brought an interesting twist to their romantic relationship and complicated their separate returns to town. But when it counted, Hayden's family rallied behind him and beside him. The emotions were riveting, the humor laugh-out-loud funny, and the sex was steamy in this "last" book in the Archer saga. But not to fear-- the author teases the reader with some new personalities that you want to get to know better--so while we are leaving Ribbon Ridge right now, I'm confident it's only temporary.
