Interesting story but I hate all sudden long monologues in action sequences. Not one but lots of them. Very disappointing. Another note, unrelated to quality, the protagonists is quite unique. Never trusted anybody. Murder always first choice. Torture second. Reading this series is like seeing how a killers thought justice is.

It was good... I see a new antagonist in the future and I hope he dies an awful death. Look, I like Necromancy but even if I could use it I would never bind an unwilling soul (no necromancy in this volume). I feel the same about slavery. This new antagonist hopefully dies in a painful manner. Besides that, GOOD BOOK!

Excellent Series. I find myself hoping for good things to happen for the main character.
