Once again I could have done without the "F" bombs that added nothing to the story and took making love to being just sex. This author writes such great love stories, I don't know why she has to sink to the level of masses of writers who are not even close to being her equal. Good book in spite of that however. Loved Julian with Thea. He saw into her heart rather than just the outer package.

I really enjoyed this book & will read the next in the series. The Duke, was an angry man. who was trying not to show love for anyone. people who had been close to him had been hurt & murdered. Despite his reluctance, he fell in love with the lady who would become his wife. There was quite a few turns as the characters developed . yes I recommend you sit down, wine or coffee at hand. ... happy reading.

There aren't many writers who do the novella format justice. In fact this may be the first of its kind in my experience. SUPER hot, but lacking none of the critical storytelling you'd expect from a story twice its length. Just an absolute pleasure! I'll be looking for more of this ilk by the author.
