Timeless romance, great group of friends I'm old enough to remember the Thirty Something series, and this group of young friends reminded me that sometimes, college friendships turn into lifelong relationships. This is set around a group of friends who start to pair off with Dillon and Elise. Their chemistry is instant and intense, insuring that their one-night-stand would only be the beginning. I love the attention to detail in establishing so many distinct personalities. The hopes and dreams, struggles and insecurities, passions and loyalties are all beautifully portrayed throughout this compelling story. There's a shocking event that took me by surprise, but it is the kind of fire that forges even stronger connections for those who endure it. This is a promising start for the series, and I'm looking forward to reading every story along the way.

This was a great book and a really strong start to her new series. This series carries on from the Fractured Connections series and we now get youngest brother Dillion’s story. Dillon heads off to a new college, moving away from his brothers and into campus living. He is only 20 and not looking for his forever, although he has helped each of his brothers on their journey to finding love... but sometimes you can’t control when you meet the one. This series is set with a younger crowd, not yet 21 or able to drink, so a slightly sweeter, cleaner read, but still all the excitement, romance and drama you would expect and have come to love in a Carrie Ann Ryan book. This is a great book and I look forward to more in this series. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book

4.5 Stars for My One Night ( On My Own #1) What a great start to a new series from Carrie Ann Ryan and this is Dillion Connolly and and Elise Hoover’s story. It was only meant to be one night but the chemistry this couple share always meant one night would never be enough, could it be they have found their soul mate..... Sometimes it takes a life changing event to see what’s in front of your eyes, sometimes we don’t know what we have until we lose it and when Dillion’s past comes back to haunt him and Elise suffers a loss their story becomes an emotional read. This is a emotional, at times heartbreaking story, it’s a journey that’s full of bumps in the road but it’s also a beautifully written romance that proves if you are determined to perverse you will find true love and happiness. This book has it the feels and I was captivated from the first chapter, I was drawn into this story by the layers and depth of Dillion and Elise, I didn’t want t put their story down until I knew they had found the HEA they both deserved. This is a great start to the new series and I highly recommend My One Night.
