Though the author has a knack of keeping the reader on edge throughout with a novel, subtle comic touch to the writing; the same pattern becomes predictable and unnecessary lengthens the volume of the series for sales/marketing/publishing benefits.

I really enjoyed The Baby Bargain by Ellis O. Day. It is the first book in the new Billionaire's Baby Book series and it begins with a bang. Harker and Allison had off the charts hot chemistry. Harker asks Allison to have his baby. In exchange for having his baby he will make her a part owner. Obviously Allison is in shock but she could really use the money. But if she agrees to do this they will have to get married because of her mother's morals. Allison and Harker's story ends on a cliffhanger and I am so anxious to read the next installment in their story!

Ellis has you instantly falling in love with Alison n Harker! You will be chuckling along with Alison’s rebuttal of what Harker demands of her and her Harker Barker program will further cement the beginning of Harker’s downfall. I want to Gibb-Slap Harker as he never seems to strengthen his own marriage by his actions. The book ends on a cliffhanger, but the next book, “Making the Baby” is due out next month!
