The story was light a frothy, but honestly, it just seemed silly at times. I rolled my eyes every time Emma had a dumb pet name. And there were some cheesy elements. I get what Tessa Dare is doing but it's not really my cup of tea.

Storyline moved quickly- love that! Great beta-hero ... quirky, lovable heroine. Nice plot with touching and sometimes humourous situations/conversation. A little bit more sexually graphic than I'm used too, but it wasn't a bad thing. Overall, it was a good read.

OMG How can I say how much I Loved Loved Loved this book. The story is great, I laughed so much . I couldn't put it down. There were also some very emotional parts but was soon made okay by the love she had for her disfigured Duke that she loved so much.The servants the cat her friends, I could not put it down and read it all in one setting. It will grab you from the first page. Do not let this pass you by.
