Carise (h) finds herself on another planet, Guerran, after having been abducted from Earth. She finds Guerran a challenging place to be until Jaek (H), a gentle giant of an alien, comes to her rescue as her protector. AS the two get to know one another, their relationship moves in the hot and steamy realm, all while they face drama and action that threatens their HEA. Wonderful characters and good world building. Lovely alien romance story.

Jaek has stood out since he was in his teens. He was larger than the others and was hard to miss. He grew up on the streets and did all he could to protect those more vulnerable than him. While he may be a gentle giant, there are times when the red mist decends. Carise has been caged all her life, first because her sister loved her so much, later as a slave. Never having a choice or consulted about what happens in her life. Jaek is the only one never to have put any type of bar round her.

trapped and transferred to so many places Caise doesn't know up from down. Jaek Is drawn to her with the need to protect. Action. kisses. feeding off the energy essence only a mate can provide this is a interesting and great story. Jaek has the patience of a saint the anger of Hades himself for his mate. great read. The audiobook is good too. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
