Ratings and reviews

This was a very repetitive read. I lost track of how many times the same material was hashed over- and mostly using the same wording. And while a little angst makes a story interesting, this book went WAY over the top. I just kept wanting to shake these two characters and say grow up and get a grip! The ending was not as satisfying as you would hope for. The only thing that made this one worth my time was the true to life, rip your clothes off sex scenes.

Liked Cade and Amelia's story. Some of the language is a bit much for me which is why I lean more toward historical rather than contemporary romance I guess. Looking past that these two loved each other with everything, which at the end of the day is what we all want.

It was a sweet story about two lovers getting a second chance at love. Not a lot of action packed scenes until more than half way through the book so if that's what you're into then this book may be a slower pace than you're into.
