The man knew how to set my sheets on fire, but he wasn’t easily swayed. This might have started out as something impersonal between us, but the more I got to know him, the harder I fell for him, which wasn’t the plan. 

I could only hope that once I made my true motives known that I wouldn’t end up destroying something more valuable—us.

I enjoy romantic suspense stories and there was a good balance of, romance, heat, suspense intrigue and this was a good example of the genre. The sparks certainly fly between Bruce and Leigh however both are keeping secrets and the question is what will happen when all is revealed? Will it bring them together or rip them apart?

Bryce is hired to pose as Jack Lawton the heir of Lawton Industries a university professor. when Jack inherits his uncle company he is not equipped to handle such a task and hires Bryce's security company to find out what he suspects is murder. Bryce starts pocking around and meets and hires Leigh an activist set on bringing down the company and everything it stands for as a consultant to help him in the transition. Their magnetic attraction will be what brings them together.
