The great master Confucius said, “We have two lives, and the second begins when we realize we have only one.” Chandra Subramanyam is in her second life. Growing up in a transplanted immigrant family, she has straddled the world of Kerala and cosmopolitan Mumbai. Driven by wanderlust, she visited Norway, South Africa, USA, UAE, South East Asia and Europe. Through her journeys, she discovered her ikigai in storytelling and writing. Her essay, poetry and stories have colored the papers of Gulf News, Khaleej Times, Woman’s Era and others. Although home arrested due to Pandemic, she enjoys taking herself and her readers on flights of imagination from her home in Mumbai.
